Thanks Kristina for this
brilliant translation and for being faithful
... to us ... all the time - lots of love to Canada!!! ... and sorry
for still not having an "English"-button.
Original:
anschaun mussten.

"We survived the night at the Mary River obviously. No Kroks up

it went off to Darwin. Correct city. Cool one! Was also urgently
necessary, because there some was to be settled in such a way. Our
tires were completely zerfetzt of driving in the shrubs. There new ones
had drauf, were nothing to make - the rubber hung in breaking into of
it. Also the radiator had rausvibriert itself from its framework. We
want by the shrubs of far after Cape York. There nobody lives and there
lying to remain is quite dangerous, therefore also a new radiator had
ago. Well and then Darwin is still the city with the highest per head
beer consumption of the world, which we had us naturally also still
more exactly anschaun."
Comment from Kristina:
As you can see it's not exactly English and it seems as if a few words
couldn't be translated at all. Still I can get a few good sentences and
the general idea of things most of the time. It's better than getting
nothing at all by staring at the german and hoping it'll just all of a
sudden make sense!LOL
Understood or not it's been so much fun to check out the site! The boys
and I watch the videos and look at the pictures and really enjoy the "virtual" tour you provide. Thanks so much , it must be quite time
consuming to get it all on the net, especially after a long hard day in
the heat. Hope all continues to go well and the truck stays in one
piece! :-D
